Northern Virginia holds some of the BEST unemployment rates!

Despite the high unemployment rate nationwide, Northern Virginia holds four jurisdictions with the best unemployment rates in the state, with each falling under 5% this summer – Loudoun County, Fairfax County, the City of Alexandria, and Arlington. While Arlington County holds the best unemployment rate at 4.2%, under 5% unemployment is considered to be “full employment” according to The Virginia Employment Commission.
