        Loudoun County loves the Washington Caps find out how much???

        With just a month left in office, Mayor Bob Zoldos,  made his own power play after the Caps unleashed the fury against the Tampa Bay Lightning shutting them out in the final 2 games of the Eastern Conference finals.  He sprung into action and asked the Lovettsville Town Council to make the recommendation to honor our beloved Caps by re-branding the town as the core of Caps Nation. The approval came in and Lovettsville is now officially Capitalsville throughout the Stanley Cup games.  The Washington Capitals is currently leading the series 2-1 going into tonight’s game against the Las Vegas Knights.

        Welcome to Capitalsville!!!

        The town is now adorned with new Capitalsville signage where both residents and visitors can come and show their pride while snapping the perfect pic for their Instagram account.  Additionally, the local schools have encouraged students to rock the red while also having “skills and drills” programs on game days like today. Today is pep rally day in Capitalsville!

        Heading into DC for the big game…Fall Out Boy will perform on the steps of the National Portrait Gallery outside the Capital One Arena starting at 6pm rain or shine.  GO CAPS!!!
