It all starts in the home
The United Nations estimates that there are over 100 million people in the world today are homeless. Most are without electricity, running water, or adequate sanitation and security.Habitat for Humanity wants to recognize October 5th as National Habitat Day and build global observance that “affordable, adequate housing should be a priority everywhere – in our communities, in our towns, in our country, [and] in our world.”
