Look out Inspector Gadget, Loudoun County is gaining on you! The 2011 Digital Counties Survey named Loudoun County 6th on its list of most technologically advanced counties (with a population of 250,000-499,999 people) in the United States for “effectively economizing and finding innovative ways of using technology to meet the higher demand for services during this trying economic time.”

Loudoun’s Department of Information Technology cites it’s expanded server virtualization program, as well as going paperless by using Ipad’s, as just two reason’s why Loudoun County has been singled out.
