Blue Ridge Middle School Awarded Environmental Designation

Blue Ridge Middle School, located in beautiful Purcellville, Virginia, has once again been named a Virginia Naturally School by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality! Only 47 schools have been selected for this honor and this is Blue Ridge Middle School’s fifth time of achievement!

Students at Blue Ridge Middle School demonstrate their environmental awareness by place-based education and service-learning projects, such as placing tiles with the “Leave No Trace” principles at Bear’s Den located along the Appalachian Trail. How cool is that?!
